Local News in Brief : Countywide : Housing Authority Picks Three New Members
The Orange County Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners announced the appointments of three new members.
They are Ruth Finley, former Huntington Beach City Council member; James Mee of Fullerton and Susan Topercer of Newport Beach. All three appointments are for two-year terms.
The commission also elected Lila MacDonald as its new chairman and Douglas Bystry as its new vice chairman. They replaced former Chairman Sandra Valdez and Vice Chairman Donna Chessen, who is also Mayor Pro Tem of Buena Park.
The Orange County Housing Authority administers rental assistance programs for low-income families.
