San Diego
A 72-year-old Chollas View man pleaded innocent Friday to commiting two murders stemming from a disagreement over parking.
Sam Lewis was ordered held in county jail in lieu of $500,000 bail, set by San Diego Municipal Judge H. Ronald Domnitz.
Lewis is being held in connection with the shooting deaths Tuesday night of Sean Nichols, 28, and Robert Rose, 33. In court Friday, Lewis’ wife, Bertha, testified that the shooting was preceded by an argument over a parking space in a driveway.
Domnitz set a Jan. 26 preliminary hearing date.
