Man, 18, Linked to USC Attacks
An 18-year-old man who was recently released from a juvenile probation camp is responsible for three attacks on women students at USC, police said today.
Deon Proby was arrested last Thursday in connection with an unrelated kidnap-robbery in North Hollywood and was later linked to the USC incidents, according to Sgt. Dan Pugel. Police said Proby also has been booked in connection with a rape, a sexual assault and a kidnap-robbery on the campus between Oct. 29 and Nov. 9. Proby was held today in lieu of $250,000 bail.
