Paul Palmer, the Kansas City Chiefs’ leading rusher and second-leading receiver, remained suspended indefinitely.
The Chiefs had announced Palmer was suspended for “conduct detrimental to the team” after making remarks to assistant coach C.T. Hewgley on the team bus en route to practice. Jim Schaaf, Kansas City general manager, said Palmer’s status would be reviewed on a week-to-week basis.
