Escondido
Two sobriety checkpoints will be set up during the holiday season, Escondido police announced Monday.
The first checkpoint will be posted Saturday and the second date will be determined later. Specific locations will be released one hour before the checkpoints open at 9 p.m., Officer John Foster said.
The U. S. Supreme Court recently affirmed the constitutionality of roadblock checkpoints.
