Local News in Brief : Police Say Tarzana Man Killed Wife, Self
A Tarzana couple found dead in their home after an apparent murder-suicide were identified by Los Angeles police as Elliot and Susan Milstein.
Police said Elliot Milstein, 49, was apparently despondent because of his wife’s plans to seek a divorce and the recent loss of his job.
Investigators said they believe he shot his 45-year-old wife to death in their home in the 18700 block of Hatteras Street sometime Tuesday and then killed himself. The couple’s bodies were found by one of their two teen-age sons, police said.
