Pedestrian Killed by Bus

OAKLAND — A pedestrian was killed Wednesday by a bus that also crashed into a house in the hilly Dimond District, police said.
Bus driver Brian Gilmer, who was trapped inside the coach more than two hours, was in stable condition at a hospital.
