Marc Girardelli, an Austrian-born skier from Luxembourg, won his second World Cup slalom this season at Kranjska Gora, Yugoslavia, and moved into first place in the overall standings.
West Germany’s Armin Bittner was second and Alberto Tomba of Italy third.
“This is my first real victory against Tomba,” Girardelli said after clocking a winning 1 minute 50.52 seconds.
