Following the successes of their 1988 multiplatinum release of “ESP” and recent live performances, the Bee Gees have decided to take their act on the road--all over the world--starting in May. “We’re very excited about the new music and feel committed to playing it live,” said Robin Gibb, who with his brothers broke every existing music industry sales and air-play record during the mid-1970s with their “Saturday Night Fever” sound track, which sold more than 30 million albums. The brothers Gibb--who haven’t performed on tour for more than a decade--begin their one-year concert tour in Europe and will hit at least 15 countries, including the United States, where the group will perform a few select (and as yet unspecified) dates in July and August.
