Long Beach Plays Host to San Jose Today
Coming off its best shooting performance this season, the Cal State Long Beach basketball team plays San Jose State in a Big West Conference game today at 4 in the university gym.
Long Beach (4-7 overall, 1-1 in the Big West), shot 73% in an 83-66 victory at Cal State Fullerton Thursday night. Center John Hatten has averaged 20 points for the 49ers in his last 3 games.
San Jose (5-7, 1-2) is led by guard Steve Haney, who is averaging 19 points a game.
