Second-generation NASCAR stock car star Davey Allison is among 10 drivers who joined the list of racing millionaires in 1988.

The 10 new entries, tying the record for the most drivers to climb over $1 million in career earnings in a single year, raised to 70 the number in the group.

Besides Allison, who reached the $1-million plateau in 57 events--the fastest pace in NASCAR history--the list includes Brazilian Indy-car and endurance racer Raul Boesel, Indy-car drivers Howdy Holmes, Derek Daly, Tony Bettenhausen, Scott Brayton and Johnny Parsons Jr., and NASCAR regulars Lake Speed, Phil Parsons and Sterling Marlin.
