In Brief : Falcons Safety Has Knee Surgery

SUWANEE, Ga. —
Atlanta Falcons strong safety Robert Moore has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, the NFL club announced today. The Falcons said Moore, 24, injured the knee in the final game of the season against New Orleans. Team doctor John Garrett said Moore, who started all 16 games and had 117 tackles and five interceptions, is expected to be released from the hospital Thursday and will begin a six-month rehabilitation program.
