League-Leading Blast Defeats Lazers in Baltimore, 6-3

BALTIMORE — Ken Fogarty scored his second goal of the season 5:57 into the fourth quarter, snapping a 3-3 tie and propelling the Baltimore Blast to a 6-3 victory over the Los Angeles Lazers in a Major Indoor Soccer League game Friday night.
Baltimore (13-6) rallied 3 times from 1-goal deficits and scored 4 straight goals in the final period to maintain its hold on first place.
Blast goalie Scott Manning faced 40 shots and made a season-high 22 saves to record the win.
Goalkeeper Kris Peat had 13 saves for the Lazers (10-12).
Freddie Thompson scored 2 goals for the Blast, who also got one goal apiece from Rusty Troy, Tim Wittman and Mark Mettrick.
Gary Heale scored 2 goals and Hector Martinez 1 for the Lazers.
