Two Orange County men were killed and a third lost his lower right leg in unrelated traffic accidents, authorities said this morning.

A Brea man was killed when he suddenly swerved from an off ramp back onto the Riverside Freeway and skidded out of control at 90 m.p.h., a California Highway Patrol spokesman said. Michael Eugene Liscio, 22, was thrown from his truck, which rolled four times.

The accident occurred at 9:10 p.m. at the Coal Canyon ramp in Yorba Linda.

A half hour later, a Santa Ana man was killed as he tried to run across the Long Beach Freeway in Paramount. David Urena, 23, had lost control of his pickup truck and had crashed into the center divider. He left the vehicle and tried to cross the freeway, the CHP said, and was struck by a hit-and-run driver. There were no witnesses to the accident and no description of the vehicle.

At about 6:40 this morning, a Fountain Valley man out for a morning walk was hit by a pickup truck at Euclid Street and Bellflower Avenue. Lloyd Gage, 60, was taken to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, where his lower right leg was amputated. He was in serious condition following surgery, hospital spokeswoman Cathy Hecklinski said.

The driver, who stopped, was not injured.
