Terry Bradshaw, who called Pittsburgh Steelers Coach Chuck Noll “a jerk” while urging him to resign last season, wants to patch up relations with his former boss.

Bradshaw said he frequently criticized Noll during his weekly KDKA-TV commentaries “because my job meant I had to be critical of the Steelers at all times.

“There’s a lot of times I don’t like what he does. But he was my coach. He taught me the bottom line in business is winning, that feelings don’t matter. I’d throw my arms around Chuck right now and say, ‘Thanks, you taught me how to play, how to read defenses, how to be tough. I’ve been critical of you Chuck, but I love you.’ ”
