Two men suffered minor injuries in separate drive-by shootings Wednesday night in Southeast San Diego .

At 10:30 p.m., Brian Hayes, 24, was returning home in the 4800 block of Magnus Way. Hayes told police he watched a dark-colored Datsun 280Z make a U-turn in front of him, and drive slowly toward him. As he stood in front of his house, he said, one of the four men inside the car fired at him, striking him in the back. Hayes was taken to Paradise Valley Hospital, where he was treated and released Thursday, police said. Officers at the scene found six shotgun shells.

About half an hour later, Namon Sams, 20, was the victim of a drive-by shooting in the 5000 block of Logan Avenue.
