Prep Roundup : Swanwick Scores 22 Points as Trabuco Hills Beats Orange

Rick Swanwick scored 22 points and had 14 rebounds to lead Trabuco Hills High School to an 82-58 victory over Orange in a Pacific Coast League boys’ basketball game Thursday at Trabuco Hills.

Randy Kriech added 14 points and Tim Manning 11 for Trabuco Hills (14-5, 6-0).

In Pacific Coast League girls’ soccer:

Trabuco Hills 2, Orange 0--Linda Lunceford scored 2 goals, her 24th and 25th of the season, for Trabuco Hills.


Laguna Hills 4, Laguna Beach 1--Suzy Kim scored 2 goals and Amy Foster and Claudia Smedes 1 each for visiting Laguna Hills (5-9-2, 3-2).

In the Empire League:

El Dorado 5, Loara 0--Nicole Caro and Theresa Korte scored 2 goals each and Amy Ertle 1 for visiting El Dorado (8-3-4, 3-2-1).

In the Garden Grove League:

Kennedy 8, Bolsa Grande 0--Stacy Darin had 3 goals and her sister Krista had 2 for host Kennedy (8-7-1, 4-2).

Pacifica 4, Garden Grove 0--Hilary Lies, Devon Fitzpatrick, Cristy Figler and Michelle Jensen scored for host Pacifica (7-1-2, 5-0-1).

La Quinta 12, Rancho Alamitos 0--Lara Crowley scored 3 goals and Stephanie Stucker and Robin Karnes scored 2 goals each for visiting La Quinta (11-2-1, 5-0-1).
