If you want to save the trauma centers, aid the needy and provide AIDS care, put in 25-cent toss-in baskets at so-called freeway entrances. You not only garner dollars but you will ease gridlock. It worked fine in Richmond, Va.
It’s about time that Los Angeles residents realize it’s a privilege to use a “freeway” not a right.
