Chris-Craft Industries’ 1988 net income of $21.4 million was more than double 1987’s and was the highest in its history. Operating revenue totaled a record $251 million, up 4%. The New York broadcast and entertainment firm said the gains are primarily a result of its investment in Warner Communications Inc., which more than offset the effects of a mediocre broadcasting year.
