Avocado League San Marcos 69, Ramona 63--Jay Kitti scored 29 points as San Marcos (7-17, 3-11) outscored host Ramona (9-15, 6-8) in the second half, 49-39. Jay Kitti led San Marcos with 29 points. Tony Newman had 24 for Ramona.

Rancho Buena Vista 68, San Pasqual 66 (OT)--James Lewis scored 20 points, and Darryl Parker added 15 as Rancho Buena Vista (12-13, 8-6) won for the sixth time in eight games. Erik Meek led San Pasqual with 30.

El Camino 73, Oceanside 59--Glenn Ankton led El Camino (20-5, 13-1) with 29 points. Teammate Dee Boyer had 14 rebounds. Oceanside is now, 13-9 and 11-3 in league.

City Western League

Mission Bay 59, Clairemont 54--Coupled with La Jolla’s loss to USDHS, Mission Bay, who won seven of its last eight games, ensured itself its first co-championship since 1985, its fourth title ever. Mission Bay (15-7, 7-3) was down, 31-25, at the half and by seven at the end of three quarters but outscored Clairemont, 21-9, in the fourth.

USDHS 63, La Jolla 61--Peter Ellis hit a three-pointer with 17 seconds left to clinch the victory for USDHS (11-10, 4-6). Ellis led USDHS with 22 points. La Jolla is 15-9, 7-3.

Palomar League

Mt. Carmel 105, San Dieguito 58--Jeff Hensley and Shane Knight each scored 19 points and Knight had 11 rebounds for Mt. Carmel (16-8, 8-4). San Dieguito (7-17, 1-11) led, 23-21, but then was outscored, 84-35.

Fallbrook 63, Orange Glen 52--Shawn Macklin scored 27 points and grabbed seven rebounds in Orange Glen’s losing effort at home. Fallbrook, which had 10 players score, was led by Jorge Rodriguez (15) and Chris Miller (12) and teammates Keith Elston and Travis Teagle added nine apiece. Fallbrook finished the season at 12-12 and 7-5; Orange Glen dropped to 8-16, 4-8.

Metro Conference

Marian 57, Mar Vista 46--Marian made 15 of 19 free throws in the fourth quarter to seal lthe victory. Jerry Conline had 16 points, and Teo Rosales and Richard Carreon had 11 apiece for host Marian (5-15, 5-9).

Grossmont 2-A League

Valhalla 59, Grossmont 45--Tony Clark, a 6-foot-7 junior forward, scored 36 points and had 15 rebounds for Grossmont 2-A League champion Valhalla (17-8, 6-0).

Helix 66, Santana 49--John Pressler led visiting Helix (17-6, 6-2) with 28 points.

Girls

Grossmont 2-A League

Valhalla 53, Grossmont 50--Jeanette Best scored 15 points and Nicole Cremidan added 12 for Valhalla (7-16, 2-4). Christina Adams scored a game-high 25 for host Grossmont.

City Central League

Christian 66, San Diego 47--Erika Jonte led Christian with 31 points. Stacy Patsko had 23 rebounds for Christian (11-10, 5-5). San Diego (11-10, 5-5) and Christian are tied for third in the league.

Our Lady of Peace 47, Crawford 35--Our Lady of Peace clinched its first league title with the victory over Crawford at St. Augustine. Tammy Tavares and Deanna Beauparlant paced OLP with 16 and 13 points. Beauparlant added 17 rebounds. Meme Knowles led Crawford with 11 points. OLP (19-5, 9-1) led, 23-20, at the half, but outscored the Colts 11-6 third quarter to pull away.

City Western League

Mission Bay 59, Clairemont 25--Cristina Willis scored 23 points, and Bonnie Martin added 13 for Mission Bay (18-7, 10-0).

City Eastern League

Point Loma 66, Patrick Henry 40--Tyeast Brown scored 22 points, and Monica Filer added 20 as Point Loma Coach Lee Trepanier won his 300th game, and Point Loma (26-1, 10-0) won the City Eastern League championship. Sorii Epps led Patrick Henry (17-8, 9-3) with 27 points.

Nonleague

Santana 52, Helix 37--Rebecca Aase had 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Stephanie Thompson had 10 points and 14 rebounds for No. 3 Santana (21-2, 6-0). Julie O’Neal led visiting Helix (11-8, 6-2) with 22 points.
