Barry Switzer, Oklahoma’s beleaguered football coach, finally got some good news as fans and former players launched campaigns to show their support.

At a news conference in Oklahoma City, at least 35 of his former players, including Heisman Trophy winners Billy Sims and Steve Owens, turned out to praise Switzer, the top winner among active college football coaches.
