More than a year after an 11-year-old girl was found shot to death in the hallway of her San Jose home, authorities have arrested her father, a 32-year-old IBM designer. Police said Larry Archer Bartlett shot his daughter, Kelly Ann, shortly after returning home from a Thanksgiving visit with relatives in Sacramento. Barlett originally told police that the child shot herself accidentally, and the death was ruled an accident. Authorities said Bartlett later told them that he shot his daughter by accident but had been afraid to tell anyone.
