Johnny Depp, who plays an undercover police officer on Fox’s “21 Jump Street,” was on the other side of the law Wednesday in Vancouver, Canada, where the series is made. He was arrested early in the morning and charged with assault and mischief after police were called to a noisy party in a West End apartment, Depp, 25, was released a couple of hours later. A spokesman for the show had no comment on the charges and would not say if Depp made it to the set later that day.
