TV Evangelists

Thank you for reporter Mark I. Pinsky’s recent series on the Trinity Broadcasting Network and its owner, Paul Crouch. People need to be made aware of the dangers to the American way of life that are created by TV preachers and their insidious messages.

Ignoring Jesus’ messages of love, forgiveness and reconciliation, the TV preacher’s typical message is one of hatred for the Commies (and anyone not of their own “Christian” view), military action instead of negotiation, racism instead of inclusion and intolerance instead of freedom.

Their messages of militarism have cost the country billions of dollars (while they raked in their millions); their messages of racism have cost us unity, and their messages of intolerance put us in danger of fascism. As these networks grow, let us be doubly alert, for truly they put us in danger of losing not only our money, but our freedoms and our lives.
