Two men armed with a pistol and a sledgehammer stole $132,000 in jewelry from a Northridge discount store, police said today.

The men, who are still at large, entered the Best Products store at 19358 Nordhoff St. about 8:30 p.m. Monday, ordered a clerk to open a display case and emptied the jewelry into a pillow case before speeding away in stolen 1979 Buick, according to Los Angeles Police Detective Damon Loomis. The car was found minutes later abandoned several blocks away, he said.

The men were picked up by a second getaway car that was driven by a third bandit, who also has not been apprehended, Loomis said.
