San Diego
An unidentified body was found Wednesday floating in San Diego Bay near North Harbor Drive between Anthony’s Seafood Restaurant and the nearby maritime museum.
The body of a white male was first sighted floating near the Berkeley ferry, which is part of the museum, by an employee of the Maritime Museum Assn. of San Diego, who told Harbor Police of a white male floating near the Berkeley ferry boat, which is part of the museum.
The dead man is described as being 45 to 60 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and having graying brown hair and brown eyes. He weighed 188 pounds and was wearing a red, long-sleeve sweat shirt and dark blue pants, a coroner’s spokesman said.
The spokesman said there were no signs of trauma and that an autopsy is scheduled for today.
