Gas Blast Kills One Hours After Utility Crew Leaves

TOPEKA, Kan. —
A natural gas explosion Wednesday leveled a house, killing one person and injuring two others, hours after utility workers made two stops at the residence, officials said. A KPL Gas Service spokesman said crews replaced a gas meter and repaired a leak in a pipe going into the meter, but had found no other leaks.
