Sports Groups Receive Grants

Three Westside organizations were among recent recipients of grants from the Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles. The Santa Monica Gymnastic Center received $44,606 for new equipment; the West Los Angeles College Foundation, $41,800 to continue operation of the weight-throwing center at the college, and the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics, $40,000 for equipment and scholarships for rhythmic gymnastics.
