The California Raisins will boogie into their own Saturday morning TV series this fall on CBS, the California Raisin Advisory Board and Will Vinton Productions Inc. announced Thursday. Vinton, chief executive officer of the Portland, Ore.-based company, called the new project “an exciting creative challenge” and said the show will incorporate the “soulful music for which the California Raisins are famous.” The weekly series will be built around A.C., Beebop, Red and Stretch, the four Raisins featured in a recent CBS prime-time special.
