It’s How He Plays Game, Not How He Bets on It
Ross Newhan is perfect, right?
Like a typical L.A. writer, he is enjoying ripping up a legend . . . or anybody.
If Newhan believes Pete Rose doesn’t belong in the Hall of Fame, he has sponge between his ears.
It doesn’t matter what Rose does in private life. It’s only what happened between the foul lines that gets you into the Hall.
Does Newhan honestly believe there never has been anybody connected with baseball who has bet on baseball? How naive.
