Jimmy Spencer and Dale Jarrett have been fined by NASCAR and placed on probation as the result of an incident during the Busch Grand National stock car race March 25 at Hickory, N.C., Motor Speedway.

Jarrett, fined $1,000, was leading late in the race when Spencer moved out to pass and the cars came together, sending Jarrett into the wall. Spencer, fined $2,150, went on to win the race and Jarrett rammed Spencer’s car in retaliation in Victory Lane.
