Debbie Dickmann has made the Hayward Pioneer Classic her personal playground.

After racking up her 11th and 12th shutouts of the season in Friday’s pool play, Dickmann, Cal State Northridge’s pitching ace, hurled a six-inning perfect game Saturday in the Lady Matadors’ 3-0 victory over Pacific Lutheran.

With the win, CSUN emerged undefeated in four games of pool play.

Against Pacific Lutheran, Dickmann struck out nine.

Lisa Erickson, the Lady Matadors’ leading hitter, supported the effort with three hits. Erickson also scored a run in the third on Lisa Hall’s two-run single. Anna Getherall, aboard on a bunt single, also scored on the hit.

Erin McGuire’s ground out later in the inning scored Char Schmitt from third.

In the first round of championship-bracket play, Heather Lindstrom threw a five-hitter and Hall had four hits and three runs batted in to lead Northridge to an 11-1 victory over Metro State of Denver.
