Fire Starts in Carport, Ravages Tarzana Home
A fire caused $85,000 in damage at an unoccupied Tarzana home, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported Friday. There were no injuries.
The fire at 11:01 p.m. Thursday started in the carport of the home at 5314 Otis St. and spread to the main dwelling, destroying most of the structure, Battalion Chief John Adams said.
