Raiders Open With Four AFC West Games
The Raiders will open their National Football League season Sept. 10 at the Coliseum against the San Diego Chargers, the first of four straight AFC Western Division games.
Other home opponents include the AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals and the Washington Redskins, winners of Super Bowl XXII.
They play one Monday night game--at the Meadowlands against the New York Jets--and two Sunday nights, at San Diego and Seattle.
The Raiders will open the exhibition season Aug. 12 with a home game against the defending Super Bowl champion 49ers. They will also play Coliseum exhibitions with the Cowboys and Bears.
