NAIROBI, Kenya —
Eno Polo won his second singles match and teamed in a winning doubles effort today to lead Kenya to a 3-2 victory over Ivory Coast in Davis Cup tennis play.
Polo, Kenya’s second-ranked player, teamed with Philip Ilako to defeat Isaac Bungre and Jean-Jacques Kouassi 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 in a morning doubles match, then came back in the afternoon to trounce Jean-Christophe Nabi 6-0, 6-1, 6-1 in a decisive singles contest in the Africa Zone Group 2 competition.
