4 Wounded, Fire Set as Neighbors Fight
Four young men were wounded, two critically, by gunfire Monday afternoon near an Inglewood apartment building in what appeared to be a neighborhood fight, authorities said.
Two upstairs apartment units were destroyed and a third was heavily damaged by a fire that apparently was set by the assailants during the argument, fire officials said.
The shooting victims were discovered by two plainclothes Inglewood police officers who were driving in the 3300 block of Lawrence Street and saw smoke coming from the six-unit apartment house.
