Orange County Prep All-Star Games : Katella’s Pastorello Tops Selections for North Football Team

Running back Joe Pastorello of Katella High School heads the list of nominations for the North team that will participate in the 30th Orange County all-star football game June 30 at Orange Coast College’s LeBard Stadium.

Pastorello rushed for 1,132 yards and 15 touchdowns for Katella, establishing career and single-season rushing marks at the school. Quarterbacks Tracy Garrett of Valencia, Albert Razo of La Habra, Pete Montera of Kennedy and Jason Neben of Orange Lutheran were also nominated.

Servite, tri-champion of the Angelus League, had six players nominated, but record-setting running back Derek Brown already has indicated he will not play.

North Coach John Barnes of Los Alamitos will announce his 36-man roster next week. The North nominations:
