Yugoslav teen-ager Goran Ivanisevic, ranked 88th in the world, upset two-time champion Henri Leconte, 25, of France 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 today in the second round of the $200,000 Swatch Open tennis tournament.

The 6-foot-5, 17-year-old Ivanisevic, who reached the quarterfinals at the Australian Open in January, surprised the second-seeded Leconte, ranked 14th in the world, by staying with him with a powerful service. The lanky Ivanisevic fired a number of aces and service winners on the slow, red clay courts of the Nice Lawn Tennis Club.

Ivanisevic fought off a break point in the second game of the third set and broke Leconte in the third game, forcing two errors with Leconte at the net, to take a 3-1 lead. He again broke Leconte in the ninth game, winning on his third match point with a sparkling service return.
