Comedian Lucille Ball may be moved today to a part of the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for people on their way to recovery, according to a medical center spokesman. “We’re looking to move her from the cardiac/surgical intensive care unit to what is referred to as a ‘step-down’ unit,” said spokesman Ron Wise. “Perhaps after a very short period there, she’ll be moved to her own room.” Wise said the 77-year-old entertainer’s condition “continues to improve each day.” She’s awake. She’s alert. She’s talking to her husband, to her daughter, to her doctors, to her nurses.”
