The power shortage is over in Milwaukee.

B.J. Surhoff hit a grand slam and Joey Meyer added a solo homer Wednesday as the Brewers routed the Minnesota Twins, 12-0, halting Allan Anderson’s winning streak at seven games.

Rob Deer touched off the power display Monday night when he hit a two-run homer off Minnesota relief ace Jeff Reardon to give Milwaukee a 5-4 victory.

“It just shows you how mental the game is,” Meyer said after snapping a 1-for-22 slump with the home run and two singles. “When Rob hit that homer Monday it just took the load off everybody. What we needed was the big boost.”
