San Gabriel : Reading Program Scheduled

Twenty-six authors and illustrators of children’s books will meet with children, parents, teachers and librarians Saturday from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Clairbourn School, 8400 Huntington Drive.

The authors and illustrators, all from Southern California and several from the San Gabriel Valley, will make presentations on reading and writing and will talk informally with those who attend.

The free, public event, themed “more children reading and children reading more,” is sponsored by the Southern California chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and the Year of the Young Reader--Southern California Project.
