Actor John Malkovich, best known for his stage and screen roles in “Dangerous Liaisons,” “Burn This” and “Empire of the Sun,” has left the production of Paramount’s “Crazy People” for “personal reasons,” according to executive producer Robert K. Weiss. The trouble-plagued film, which began principal photography April 17 in Chatham, Va., had a change of directors earlier this week when Tony Bill was announced to take over for first-time director and “Crazy People” screen writer Mitch Markowitz.
