It’s Time for O’Malley to Pull Purse Strings
- Share via
Peter O’Malley and other big league sports owners (“Too High Rollers?”) aren’t much different than the average consumer.
They just don’t have the guts to stand up to these so-called major leaguers and say: “No, you aren’t that damned important, and you’re not getting a million dollars a year.”
If only the owners would lock these goons out and the public would boycott the games and sponsors, we could end this economic lunacy.
But alas, O’Malley laments and remains too timid, and John Q. Public is too gullible and addicted to sports to do anything about it.
