A 26-year-old Phoenix television journalist resigned after management learned she was the subject of a nude photo feature in the July issue of Playboy magazine, which hits newsstands this week. Shelly Jamison, a news producer, reporter and fill-in anchor at KTSP-TV News, is on the cover of the magazine with her clothes on, and on the inside with them off. “If they don’t fire me, I’ll probably quit anyway,” she told the Arizona Republic earlier in the week. KTSP-TV News Director Dave Howell said in a prepared statement Friday that she had resigned, effective immediately. “Neither the article in the July issue of Playboy magazine nor the use of KTSP-TV trademarks nor the pictures taken on the premises were done with our authorization, knowledge or permission,” the statement said.
