Police are asking for the public’s help in finding two suspects wanted in two unrelated shooting deaths earlier this year.

Santa Ana police spokeswoman Maureen Thomas said officers are seek Chau Truong Nguyen, 20, of Santa Ana, in the March 17 slaying of Duy Duc Vu, 14, of Westminster; and Tomas Roman Pacheco in the April 12 slaying of Aaron Olivos, 32.

Police arrested two teen-agers Wednesday in Vu’s killing: Huy Hoang Ngo, 18, of Garden Grove, and a 16-year-old from Westminster whose name was not provided because he is a juvenile, Thomas said.

Vu was standing in the driveway of a Santa Ana home after a party when a caravan of five cars drove by and several people got out and began shooting at the house, she said.

Vu was shot once in the head and died later at a Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, Thomas said.

In the slaying of Olivos, police are looking for Pacheco, who is 25, 5 feet, 6 inches, 135 pounds and Latino, with black hair, brown eyes and a mustache. Pacheco is also missing the big toe on his right foot and has two half-inch horizontal scars on his right nostril, Thomas said.

Police consider him armed and dangerous.

Olivos was shot to death after he honked his horn at a car backing out of a fast-food outlet on 1st Street. The suspect allegedly got out of his car after Olivos honked and shot him once through an open window on the driver’s side of the car, Thomas said. Olivos died at the scene.
