Tapping Tudor Is an Easy Winner
Tapping Tudor led all the way and was never seriously threatened in winning the $28,000 turf feature by 4 1/2 lengths over Paper Princess Thursday at Hollywood Park.
Trained by Mel Stute and ridden by Alex Solis, the 3-year-old filly covered one mile in 1:35 3/5 for her second consecutive wire-to-wire victory.
Tapping Tudor returned $25, $10.40 and $7.60. Paper Princess paid $8.80 and $6.20. Decora, another length back, paid $5.60.
