The National Endowment for the Arts has awarded the Newport Harbor Art Museum $4,900 to buy and install earthquake-resistant metal shelving in the art storage vault and $4,000 to support maintenance of the museum’s permanent collection. In March, the NEA awarded the museum $20,000 to help finance the purchase of “Rondo,” (1968-69) an installation by James Turrell.
