Santa Ana : Vice Chancellor Named for Community Colleges
Edward Hernandez Jr. has been named vice chancellor for student affairs and community services for the Rancho Santiago Community College District.
Hernandez’s appointment was announced by Rancho Santiago College Chancellor Robert D. Jensen at the district’s recent board meeting. Hernandez will begin work July 1.
Hernandez was previously at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, where he was dean of community services for 12 years. Before that, he was assistant dean of student services at Mt. San Antonio for three years.
As vice chancellor, Hernandez will oversee Rancho Santiago’s admissions, counseling, community services, financial aide, extended opportunity programs and services and the center for disabled students.
