San Diego Freeway Lane Closures Set
Several lanes of the southbound San Diego Freeway in Long Beach will be closed at the Stearns Street bridge from 9 p.m. Saturday to 11 a.m. Sunday for construction work, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Motorists will be able to use the median area but are being advised to expect some congestion through the construction zone.
The reconstruction of approach and departure slabs at the bridge is part of a $1.7-million project expected to be completed by late September.
