Orange : Man’s Body Found Near Vacant Train Station
The body of a 28-year-old man believed to be a robbery victim was found outside a vacant train station early Monday by police who were searching for a suspect in an unrelated case.
The victim, identified by police as Alcides Chacon of Orange, was apparently killed sometime after midnight, according to Orange Police Sgt. Timm Browne.
Evidence at the scene in the 100 block of North Atchison Street led police to believe that theft was the motive in his death, Browne said.
He declined to be more specific but invited anyone who knows more about the case to call police.
The body was found shortly after 4:30 a.m. Monday.
